Frequently Asked Questions

What cameras do you use?

Canon 5D Mark III, Leica Q2 and Leica M Typ 240.

How/where did you learn photography?

I’m self taught.

Do you photograph weddings, events or headshots?

No, my artistic focus is street photography at the moment. I occasionally do documentary and portrait work.

Are you still photographing Dance and Theatre?

I stepped away from performance art photography in 2018. I will consider a collaboration if the project piques my interest or I feel an artistic connection to the project.

Do you have any advice for beginner photographers?

Some may think that buying an expensive camera will help them get great photos. It’s not the camera, it’s your eye, knowledge and coordination that makes good photographs. Just like learning any craft, it takes time and effort to master it, so don’t be in a rush. Shoot as much as you can and experiment. Photography is not all about techniques and knowing your equipment, it’s an art form that requires your understanding of composition, perspective and what moves you. Last but foremost, have fun.

Can I use your photographs?

No, unless you have gotten permission from me to do so.
